Yan started his career as an Accountant and Controller with Bacardi Group (1996-2001), at the Finance Department. After several years, he has decided to seek a new professional challenge and joined External Asset Manager in Geneva. During these past years, he became associate and focused on Private Equity, Equity and Bonds market. Yan has over 10 yearsꞌ experience as an asset manager.
To increase growth, he brings together few professionals to create a new asset management company, duly regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (“FINMA”), where, he is acting as a passive shareholder. At the same time, he decided to expend his business network with a new family office and asset manager in Dubai.
Following his university degree in Geneva, Thierry joined a major international Swiss bank as a Wealth manager. In 2004, Thierry became director of the bank. Later on, he decided to launch his own wealth management company to be closer to his customers, which is what he most values.
After completing his studies in Geneva, Alexandre joined a large international Swiss bank as an advisor on equity and derivatives markets. During this period, Alexandre gets his financial analyst diplomas CFPI (AZEK) and CIIA.
After a brief period working with a Geneva private bank as a technical analyst, Alexandre embarks as asset manager in 2006 by co-founding OAM Finance SA where he developed and implemented the investment strategy according to the various mandates given by clients.
Olivier started his career as an Equity Analyst at Quaker Securities where he was involved in transactions related to equity trading, brokerage, investments and venture capital projects. After just a few years of excellent performance, Olivier became Partner and took the position of Head of Trading in 2010.
Throughout this time, Olivier worked on several large business ventures in the fields of technology, energy and biotechnology. He was in charge of investing, financing and supervising selected prominent Private Equity projects.
In addition to his work in the Private Equity field & Brokerage, Olivier also provided wealth-management solutions for large family offices, advising, investing and consolidating considerable amounts of their assets.
Throughout the years, Olivier has built and enlarged his extensive network in Europe, America, Asia and Africa and in July 2016 started as our UAE Country Officer.
Poonam Mangar currently holds the position of Director and Head of Administration /Accounting at
MS Finance Limited. With over a decade of experience in the financial sector, particularly with management firms, she has amassed extensive expertise in fund structuring, entity establishment, administration, compliance, legal affairs, and accounting for various global enterprises. Poonam is currently progressing towards the completion of her final papers to obtain the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.
Sandy Calinghee joined MS Finance Limited as a Business Development Manager in April 2021. He brings nearly 10 years of experience in the banking sector. He started at Afrasia Bank Limited, where he worked in various roles over 5 years. He began as a customer service assistant in the payment department, then moved to the international services department.
Later, he joined the External Asset Manager desk as a customer support officer, handling daily compliance tasks. In 2017, he joined Bank One as a Relationship Manager to launch the External Wealth Manager desk, catering to financial institutions, asset managers, pension funds, and other regulated structures worldwide. The following year, he revamped the existing trading desk attached to the EWM desk, providing execution services in collaboration with international brokers. He was promoted to team leader forthe desk. He also helped set up the Kenyan desk, serving clients mainly in Kenya and other parts of Africa.
Sandy has mainly collaborated with financial structures in Europe, particularly in Switzerland, acting as a facilitator for those wanting to establish and conduct business in Mauritius. Sandy graduated from the University of Mauritius with a degree in banking and investment with honors.
Degree holder in Management minor Finance from the University of Mauritius, Jeevika Akloo holds the position of Administrative Assistant at MS Finance Limited since 2023. Her responsibilities include ensuring accurate client documentation and bookkeeping, as well as coordinating with banks regarding clients banking requirements. Additionally, she oversees the smooth daily functioning of the office. She acquired a wide set of skills that add value to any task she undertakes.
I joined JurisTax back in 2014, after having acquired five years of accounting and auditing experience in one of the Big 4 companies. After successively filling in as Head of Unit and Assistant Manager, I today lead three teams of 30 members at JurisTax Services and Juristax Outsourcing and manages a portfolio of over 500 structures and assets under management of USD2 billion.
Through my 13 years of experience in the financial services sector, I have gained analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial markets that enable me to specialise in the management of private funds.
